November Fishing Report
Fishing conditions in November have been typical of the build up, with no wind and calm seas we have been able to travel long distances to find some great fishing action. Many crews from Darwin have joined our trips to experience the quality fishing fro9m Dundee Beach.
Some of our jewfish spots have gone a bit quiet lately, with loads of juvenile fish in a feeding frenzy. Time to give them a spell and let the small fish grow into beautiful big jewfish. Hopefully we will get a couple more jewie sessions in before the end of the year, our clients all love to catch them.
There are still plenty of good golden snapper about and the average size has remained around the 5kg mark. We have been doing really well on the soft plastics and ocky jigs for goldies on medium spin gear and having alot of fun musceling fish off the bottom.
Big spanish mackerel have continued to fish well wide of Dundee, one of our guest broke our mackerl record catching a 22kg mac trolling a Mac Daddy on medium spin gear. Nearly got spooled twice but eventualy landed his fish. Other macs have been up to 18kg and when there really on double and tripple hook ups have been common.
If your looking for a Darwin fishing charter, we would love to show you some of the best fishing the Northern Territory has to offer.
